The week prior to the Women’s March on Washington Lisa Marie participated in a collaborative effort to paint large 24-foot diameter parachutes. This collective action initiated by Task Force, her painting on nylon fabric, titled “Strong Woman” was painted the week prior to the march in Washington DC & carried by a team of “Strong Women” at 4th and Independence, SW during the rally. The artwork and volunteer team was featured on the home page of the Washington Post covering Inauguration weekend, in addition to pictured in numerous other media outlets.
